The purpose of Special Needs Committees is to provide support to help make A.A. accessible to every member who desires it—to help alcoholics with special needs to either get them to meetings, or having meetings brought to them. This includes, but is not limited to, those who are blind/visually impaired, hearing impaired, confined to their homes for health reasons, and/or physically incapable of getting to meetings on their own.

Below is a copy of the “Special Needs Toolkit” and “District and Group Surveys”. We hope this information will be helpful in raising awareness and suggest groups take it to their Districts and Groups for discussion. Each District/Group is autonomous; therefore, would ask for consideration that Districts and Groups share their findings if they should choose to inventory there District and/or Groups.
