Hello Area 46, this update comes to you just a week before we have our regularly scheduled monthly zoom meeting. Due to the nature of our committee meetings schedule, we have not yet had an official meeting in between typing up and submitting these reports. But I do have a couple updates.
Firstly, we have gathered and collated the responses to the first Assembly of this rotation – sincerely, I thank all of you who responded to that survey. It really will help us help you.
Secondly, we ourselves had a small impromptu “hot wash” meeting to talk about what the committee members, the volunteers who do so much of the work behind the scenes online and in-person, what they felt went well and what we could improve upon. Mostly, we kept repeating “we did it!” I’m very grateful to be part of such a team.
We have heard those who would like some sort of tutorial or reference that can help them when they first go online for an assembly and might be feeling a bit lost, especially with the Breakout Rooms. So! We are making a tool (something like a presentation or a set of slides) that we hope will help.
We will be talking about these topics at our monthly committee meetings and would love to have you join us! We are welcoming two new members already, but our goal is to have two more if we can.
