Hello from Hybrid Events. We had a brief committee meeting on Zoom just before I typed this report up. We talked about the recent National AA in Technology Workshop that some of us attended online and in person. If you are interested in all things tech and how they affect us spreading the message of hope of recovery from alcoholism through AA, then you can find a lot of stuff at NAATW.org – and Area 46 will be hosting this workshop next year and will be working right along with the NAATW Host Committee … but more about that at the December Assembly.
We talked about the new folks we are training, and how we can share with others how much fun this really is: to be helping support each Assembly through online and in-person technology, and other aspects of Area 46 carrying the message and supporting the Districts and Groups in carrying the message. We hope to spread the word to everyone that you don’t have to be a technology guru to help out. It’s mostly about suiting up, showing up, and being willing to learn! It really feels satisfying to do this work, and we do have fun doing it too!
